There are few more thrilling sights in British racing than the horses thundering into the final furlong at Chester. With racing on the site dating back to 1539, Chester is the oldest racecourse in Britain, and possibly the world.
Racing begins with a three day May festival putting Chester in the racing spotlight nationally. This festival has long been a flagship fixture, providing the very highest level of racing, with the chance to see some of the best known names in the sport, in a fun atmosphere.
More day and evening fixtures are held throughout the summer months.
