Great British Market Awards
2 October 2019Chester Indoor Market is asking all of their customers to vote for them in this year’s Britain’s Favourite Market award.
Voting opened this week until the 30 November. The top six markets in the voting will then go through to judging and a mystery shopper to get a final winner.
Councillor Richard Beacham, Cabinet Member for Housing, Regeneration and Growth said: “Please vote for Chester Indoor Market. Last year the Market was a finalist, a huge accolade following the hard work of the traders, the market team and all the local people who have helped to transform the market.
“Twelve months later and the market is now at full capacity, Foodie Friday’s are well established as the place to be and about to expand to Saturday’s as well. Voting is easy, just visit nabma.com and pick Chester Indoor Market from the list of markets on the voting list.
“If Chester can win the prestigious Market of the Year Award it would be a fantastic way to recognise the success of the wide community of people who have collaborated to make the vision of a vibrant Chester Market a reality - especially now that Karen Bates, our markets manager, has been named as Market Manager of the Year by the National Association of British Market Authorities as well.”
National Association of British Market Authorities (NABMA) is the leading markets organisation in the country, promoting markets nationally. Voting is open from 1 October until 30 November, one vote per person, visit: www.nabma.com
