(Temporary Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading/Unloading) Order 2020
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic on roads in Hoole as detailed below because of the likelihood of danger to the public during the coronavirus pandemic. It is necessary to introduce these restrictions to create sufficient space for social distancing to be maintained.
Prohibit waiting and loading/unloading on the following length of road:
• Faulkner Street (east side) from a point 14 metres north of its junction with Charles Street for a distance of 24 metres in a northerly direction.
Limit waiting to 30 minutes, no return within 30 minutes, between 8am and 6pm (Monday to Saturday) on the following lengths of road:
• Faulkner Street (east side) from a point 26 metres south of its junction with Hoole Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
• Walker Street (south side) from a point 17 metres west of its junction with Faulkner Street for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will come into force on 17th August 2020 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until social distancing measures are no longer required, whichever is the earlier.
