|Notice is hereby given that on the 21st day of September 2020 Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Orders in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will come into force on 5th October 2020. These dates are subject to any future announcements from the Government in relation to Covid-19 and may therefore be changed at short notice.|
The effect of which will be to implement bus lanes which also permits the use by cycles, taxis, private hire vehicles, and motor cycles:

- On the A51 Boughton on (a) the lengths of carriageway on the north side of Boughton which extend from: (i) a point 33 metres east of the east side of Steam Mill Street to a point 32 west of the west side of Back Boughton: (ii) a point 13 metres east of the east side of Back Boughton to a point 71 metres west of the east side of Hoole Lane; and (iii) a point 34 metres east of the east side of Hoole Lane to a point 40 metres west of the west side of Spital Walk; and (b) the lengths of carriageway on the south side of Boughton which extend from a point 64 metres west of the west side of The Mount to a point 15 metres east of the east side of Dee Hills.
- On the A5116 Liverpool Road, Upton on (a) the lengths of carriageway on the east side of Liverpool Road which extend from a point 165 metres south of the Dale Barracks Roundabout to a point 88 metres north of the north side of Beechway; and (b) the lengths of carriageway on the west side of Liverpool Road which extend from a point 77 metres north of the north side of Upton Grange to a point 132 metres south of the Dale Barracks Roundabout.
The experimental Orders will be in force for a maximum period of 18 months, during which time the Council will consider whether to make permanent Orders. If you wish to object to the provisions of the experimental Orders continuing in force indefinitely, you may do so in writing, stating the grounds on which it is made, to the undersigned within a period of six months:
- beginning with the day on which the experimental Order came into force; or
- if that Order is varied by another order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force.
