Temporary prohibition of pedestrians order 2019
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 28 February 2022.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Public Footpath No 6 Ellesmere Port commencing at OSGR SJ 3660 7600 and running in a generally southerly direction for approximately 269 metres to OSGR SJ 3656 7573 AND that Length of Footpath No 7 Ellesmere Port commencing at OSGR SJ 3660 7600 and running in generally north westerly direction for approximately 206 metres to OSGR SJ 3647 7617 AND that length of Footpath No 9 Ellesmere Port commencing at OSGR SJ 3660 7600 and running in generally south easterly direction for approximately 462 metres to OSGR SJ 3702 7580 AND That Length of Footpath No 45 Ellesmere Port commencing at OSGR SJ 3660 7600 and running in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 213 metres to OSGR SJ 3676 7614.
The closure is necessary because works to develop land under the planning permission reference 12/02091/OUT are undertaken.
The Order came into force on 28 January 2019 and would have ended on the 29 February 2020.
