Experimental 20mph speed limit order: Chester - Grosvenor Road (public notice)
|NOTICE is hereby given that on the 29th day of September 2020 Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will come into force on 8th October 2020.|
CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(GROSVENOR ROAD, CHESTER) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT)
(EXPERIMENTAL) ORDER 2020
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on Grosvenor Road from a point 85 metres south of its junction with Grosvenor Roundabout to a point 40 metres north of its junction with Overleigh Roundabout.

The experimental Order will be in force for a maximum period of 18 months, during which time the Council will consider whether to make a permanent Order. If you wish to object to the provisions of the experimental Order continuing in force indefinitely, you may do so in writing, stating the grounds on which it is made, to the undersigned within a period of six months:
(i) beginning with the day on which the experimental Order came into force; or
(ii) if that Order is varied by another order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force.
