​A variety of activities and luncheon club take place during the week, see the activity list below, and the centre is also available for hire.​


Facilities

Main Hall - ​the main hall is multi-functional and hosts a variety of activities such as keep fit, dance classes, martial arts, events. The main hall has an equipped stage that can be used for small productions and also has a fully equipped commercial kitchen. Seating including tables and chairs are available to comfortably accommodate 48 people seated around tables (c100 without tables in theatre style). 

Craft room - ​this area is used for a variety of purposes such as whist, meetings and arts group. It has tables and chairs available to seat 24 people or c50 seated without tables. 

Lounge - the lounge has comfortable seating for c40 people and is open Tuesday to Friday 10am-12pm for refreshments. With its warm and friendly atmosphere the Dingle is a great place where people can drop in for a hot drink and toast, meet friends and have a chat. 

All areas are available for hire for a variety of uses, please contact the centre for availability and prices.


Shopmobility

​Shopmobility is located at the Dingle Centre to enable shoppers to gain easy access to the town centre. For further details about Shopmobility please ring 01606 557550.


Lunch club

The Dingle Centre is home to the very popular Lunch Club which is held every Tuesday to Friday at 12 noon. The lunch club offers delicious home cooked lunch, desert and drink at a reasonable price. Although the lunch club is aimed at people aged 55 and over we do welcome other select groups, please contact the centre for more information or to book a lunch.


Day trips

Day trips ​are arranged during the summer months and include visits to the seaside and countryside. Please contact the centre for more information.


Volunteers

The Dingle Recreation Centre successfully operates due to local volunteers helping with the daily tasks and which is greatly appreciated. Typical volunteering opportunities include; making and serving refreshments, serving lunches and helping in the kitchen with food preparation. If you would like to help in any way please contact the centre to discuss how you could get involved.
