Weaver Valley Canoe Trail

CanoeingThe Weaver Valley Canoe Trail is a Cheshire West and Chester Council and British Waterways led initiative that starts from Winsford Marina and follows the River Weaver 28 kilometres finishing at the Runcorn Rowing Club at Rocksavage.

The trail takes a day-and-a-half to complete and offers a number of different circular routes to follow that also take the canoeist onto the Trent and Mersey Canal.  You can choose certain sections of the trail if you want to explore shorter trips.

Access signs have been installed along the route to make it easy to follow, and a leaflet and maps are available on the Discover Cheshire Website or from Northwich and Winsford Information Centres. For more information contact Jo Comerie, Senior Project Officer at Cheshire West and Chester Council, email: jo.comerie@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk or, tel: 01606 353538.

You can download the leaflets, which are designed to be folded, for your visit.
