Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin

9 to 13 March 2020
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Buildwas Road – Entry gained into yard of ‘Cheshire Spas and Pools’ and windscreen and wing mirror glass smashed on vehicle (no further details).  Two spas have also been damaged and items removed from one of the hot tubs.
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Bendee Road – Outbuilding has lock broken off to access building.  Nothing taken.  Fence panel also damaged.
  • Fulwood Road – Garden entered and lock broken off shed. Three bikes taken. White Boardman. Blue/black Boardman and Black Halfords track bike.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Male climbed over boundary fencing causing damage to fence panel.
  • St. Pauls
  • Windways – Two fence panels damaged outside ‘Tesco Express’.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Telephone kiosk has cash compartment drawer forced open and contents taken.
  • Neston
  • Brook Street – Wallet dropped outside ‘Sainsburys’.  On return wallet found but contents taken.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – 2 bikes, both secured in the bike racks at ‘West Cheshire College’ – CCTV shows 2 males cutting the locks off.
    • Blue and orange Boardman bike.
    • Black Carrera. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Vauxhall Vivaro, parked in car park near to ‘Travel Lodge’ has hole drilled into rear above the door handle to gain entry. Quantity of tools taken.
  • Strawberry
  • Farmstead Way – Nissan NV400 has quantity of tools taken – occurred last week but reported following seeing information relating to the two incidents last week.
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Citroen C3, parked in the car park keyed along the length of the drivers side.
  • Whitby
  • Sycamore Drive – Peugeot 3008 keyed along the side of vehicle.
