Runcorn Local Policing Unit, Norton North

 

November 2018

 

Crime update – Theft of a caravan from Norton Village on Monday 19th November 2018. House to house enquiries and CCTV enquiries show the caravan being towed out of Norton Village at 14:07hrs on 19/11/18 by a marron 4x4 (no further details).

Burglary in the Pochard Rise area on Monday 5th November 2018. Access gained by snapping the lock of the rear patio door after removing the garden fence panel. CSI and the burglary team are dealing.

Burglary in the Moorland Drive area on 10/11/18 at around 6pm. Entry gained through rear patio door. CSI and burglary team are dealing.

Attempt burglary in the Dorrington Close area on 28/11/18 whereby unknown offenders have tried to prize open kitchen window.

ASB/criminal damage – Off road bikes reported in the St Martins Lane area. A search was made with no trace of the bikes upon arrival.

Sometime between 03/11/18 13:00hrs – 04/11/18 12:00hrs a patio window was smashed by unknown means in the Littlebourne area of Murdishaw.

 

Suspicious activity – Early hours of 5/11/18 resident of Baxter Close reporting they believe somebody has tried to open the front door to their house (which was locked), no sightings of anyone when they have looked out of the window.

Early hours of 17/11/18 resident of Baxter Close reporting someone in her back garden. Police attended there was no trace of anyone in the garden, nothing appeared to have been damaged or stolen.

Early hours of 19/11/18 resident of Dover Close reporting they believe somebody has tried their front door handle.

***Please ensure you are keeping your windows and doors locked whenever possible to do so, especially during evenings/nights***

 

Roads Policing – Stolen motorbike has been recovered in Murdishaw Valley on 17/11/18.

Speed enforcement continues to be conducted on Norton Station Road.
