Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
3rd to 8th June 2018
 
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
  
Burglary
 
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Tannery Lane – Having returned home from shopping bags left in hallway but front door insecure.  When resident has come to retrieve bags they have found purse open and cash taken from within.
  • Netherpool
  • Carlton Crescent – Resident has heard a noise and upon going to investigate found front door wide open and 3 handbags taken.  Unknown how access has been gained.
  • St. Pauls
  • Heswall Road – Entry gained possibly by an insecure rear door.  Apple Mac book and two Denon MC4000 mixing decks taken. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marina Walk – Access has been gained to ‘Cool Traders’ through rear doors.  Staff area entered and purse taken from bag. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Suffolk Avenue – Shed door removed by unscrewing hinges.  Property taken from within.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Oldfield Road – Word ‘Nonce’ sprayed onto front window.
  • Princes Road – Damage caused to door lock, possibly from door being kicked. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Shakespeare Road – Main entrance door to flats smashed.
  • Grange
  • Princes Road – Damage caused to trampoline in front garden of property.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Jacks Woods Avenue – 2 loaves of bread and a pint of milk taken from doorstep.
  • Oil Sites Road – Access gained to ‘Stanlow Oil Terminal’ site by unknown means, over unknown period of time and large quantity of copper cabling removed. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • The Priory – 3 hanging baskets taken from garden.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Radway Green – Red Suzuki GSF, Y927 DJO, secured outside address taken.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Pembridge Court – Ford Fiesta has both front and rear registration plates, displaying DF17 VFD taken.  In their place was registration DA17 XGS which had been reported stolen from within the Merseyside area. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Puddington Lane – Tow bar removed from a Range Rover.
  • Sutton
  • Capenhurst Lane – Seat Leon has front registration plate, displaying DA13 HXN taken. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Honda Civic, parked in car park to rear of ‘Debenhams’ struck to the offside bumper causing damage. – Witness described offending vehicle as a black MINI convertible which failed to stop.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Hillcrest Drive – Ford Galaxy found to have dent in door and rear passenger window smashed. – Owner believes this may possibly be the result of having been hit by reversing truck as opposed to damage by a person.
  • Sutton
  • Painswick Road – Tyres let down on vehicle.  No further details but caller reports that this has happened a number of times.
  • Grange
  • Gawsworth Road – Audi A6, parked on residential driveway has both front and rear registration plates, displaying YT07 XUA taken.
 
Other incidents of note…
  • Kinsey Road – Vauxhall Zafira, on cloned registration plates stopped and 2 males arrested and vehicle seized.
