Property and Vehicle Crime

Around 5.30am on 6th October a burglary occurred at a property on Woodside Lane a vehicle was stolen from the drive. Incident 96 06/10/17.

Between 4-5pm on 9th October a mountain bike was stolen from outside Poynton Sports Club. Crime number: 0717325878

Around 11:30am on 5th October we received a report of 2 males taking items from a property off Mallard Crescent. The males were located and arrested and their van seized for no insurance and being used in crime.

Between 3rd-6th October a quad bike was stolen from farm land on Woodford Road. Crime Number: 0717322336.

Overnight 16th-17th October a garage was broken into on Milton Drive and pushbikes and a motorbike stolen. The motorbike has since been recovered. Incident 116 17/10/17. On the same night an attempt was made to gain entry to a shed on Chester Road.

Between 12-6pm a vehicle was stolen off the driveway of a property on Deva Close. Incident 663 20/10/17.

Overnight 23-24th October a burglary occurred at an unoccupied property on Coppice Road and items was stolen from within. Property has since been recovered in the local area. Incident 326 24/10/17. On the same evening a shed was forced open on Shrigley Road North but no items taken. Incident 341 34/10/17.

Around 3pm on 26th October a window was smashed at a property on Micawber Road. Two youths have since been arrested regarding the incident. If you witnessed the incident please call 101 quoting 556 26/10/17.

Overnight 27th-28th October a burglary occurred at a property on Elm Beds Road. Entry was gained by an open window and items stolen from within. Some property from this burglary has since been recovered in the local area. Incident 279 28/10/17.

Over the month our Roads Policing Officers have arrested 1 male on suspicion of drink driving and have seized 8 vehicles for no insurance.
