21st to 31st October 2017  
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to residential property:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Hawthorn Road – Entry gained via insecure rear upstairs window.  Search of property made and keys to red BMW Mini, DG67 YXU taken along with the vehicle – Vehicle returned later with damage.
  • Springcroft – Entry gained into property by smashing rear window. Search made within kitchen to obtain keys to vehicles.  Ford Ranger moved from outside the garage and parked further along road.  Black Nissan GTR, WR64 GTR then taken from the garage.
Incidents reported relating to business premises:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cromwell Road – Entry gained onto secure site by scaling fencing.  Dumper truck removed from in front of porta-cabin and the padlock cut from the door to enable entry.  4 x Stihl saws, 1 x hydraulic breaker and a mini breaker taken.
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Park – Outer metal window grill prised off window of ‘Whitby Park Community Café’ and window smashed. No entry gained onto the premises.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Raby Park Road – Locks on gates to old ‘Neston High School’ damaged to gain entry onto site.  Locks to a cabin then forced to gain entry although nothing appears to have been taken at this time.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Unknown male has entered the ‘Pioneer Business Park’ site via climbing over boundary fence.  Insecure warehouse entered and coffee vending machine forced with cash box being removed.  The offender has exited the building via a locker room emergency exit door.  Cash box recovered with cash removed having been left by the fence. – This has also happened 2 weeks prior to this latest incident.
  • St. Pauls
  • Fairways Drive – Having heard a loud bang occupants have looked out of window and seen 3 unknown offenders get into a white Transit Van, parked on their driveway and drive off.  Upon checking the premises the lock on the garage door has been broken to gain entry.  A quad bike has been taken and a Ducati motorcycle has had the steering lock broken in an attempt to take it.
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Henley Road – 2 unknown males have pulled up to the gate to rear yard of ‘Lady Hamilton’ public house.  Entry has been gained to the yard by forcing the gates where the offenders have then loaded a cooker into the van.
  • Bull Hill – Insecure shed entered and green Carrera Vanquish mountain bike taken from within.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Auckery Avenue – Lock smashed off garage door to gain entry. Red Honda CRF 450 X, AE60 AUV, crash helmet, motorbike clothing and body armour taken along with a white Trek mountain bike.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Langley Court – Stone thrown at window causing outer pane of top opening section of living room window to smash.
  • Marina Drive – Glass in bottom of door to ‘Domino’s Pizza’ cracked after being kicked by a male during the early hours of the morning when the premised was closed.
  • Rossmore
  • South Pier Road – Restaurant sign kicked over by a group of youths who have then dragged it into the road damaging it.
  • Joan Bartlett Close – External post box damaged by being forced open.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Neston
  • Liverpool Road – Garage door damage by 2 drunken males.
  • Parkgate
  • Buggen Lane – Stone thrown through the window by group of youths.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Civic Way – Metal piping for renovation work at ‘Civic Hall’, left at rear of building taken by unknown offender/s.
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Road – Insecure black and grey Carrera Vengeance from outside the ‘Subway’ shop.
  • Rossmore
  • Monks Grove – Recycling bins taken after refuse collection.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Meadow Lane – House under renovation has gas meter taken from outside the property.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • Parkgate
  • Hawthorn Road – Red BMW Mini, DG67 YXU taken after keys obtained during a burglary – Vehicle later returned to address with damage.
  • Springcroft – Black Nissan GTR, WR64 GTR taken from garage after keys obtained during a burglary.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Auckery Avenue – Red Honda CRF 450 X, AE60 AUV, taken after entry gained into garage by smashing door lock off.
  • Netherpool
  • Pound Road – 3 Unknown males approached a Piaggio Vespa scooter, parked on residential driveway and attempt to hot wire it causing damage.  Offenders have then pushed the scooter away towards a nearby alleyway before being disturbed and running off leaving it behind.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Locked Easy Rider motorcycle, MA17 BVY, parked on residential driveway has steering lock snapped causing alarm to sound which has alerted home owner.  Offenders have run off in an unknown direction.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Ewloe Court – Offenders disturbed breaking into Ford Transit van by owner. Offenders have taken SDS drill, cordless drill, plumbing tools and a Motorola phone and left the area in a Grey Peugeot 207.
  • St. Andrews Road – Front and back registration plates, displaying DV59 MTE taken from Ford Transit.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Rossall Grove – Front registration plate of Renault Kangoo, displaying BT04 PTF taken.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Ford Transit, parked on residential street entered by unknown means and a bag containing a Motorola phone taken from within.
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flatt Lane – Mazda 3 has offside wing mirror damaged by unknown offender leaving the casing on the floor.
  • Whitby
  • Woodlands Road – Fiat Panda, parked on car park of ‘Woodlands’ public house has rear tyres slashed.
  • Stanney Lane – Audi A1, parked on car park of ‘Whitby Park’ keyed along  drivers side.
  • Strawberry
  • Wordsworth Way – Mitsubishi L200, parked of driveway of property has rear nearside wing dented above wheel by unknown means.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST
  • St. Pauls
  • Gawsworth Road – Vauxhall Zafira, parked on residential property has rear windscreen smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Northern Rise – Mercedes Sprinter, parked on residential street has 3 tyres slashed by unknown means.
  • Grange
  • Tennyson Road – Vauxhall Corsa found to have deep scratch marks on the offside rear panel and denting.
