Shed and garage burglaries in Ditton and Broadheath

Alert message sent 14/05/2017 09:13:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

There has been an increase in sheds and garages being broken into in your area. Rest assured, we are working hard to identify those responsible and bring them to justice.

To keep your belongings safe please make sure your sheds and garages are locked securely and if possible fit security lights to them. Dummy CCTV cameras clearly visible may also act as a good deterrent. If you have working CCTV consider pointing it at your shed/garage or entry routes to them.

Valuable property can be registered online at to help increase the chance of getting it back should it be taken. Alternatively, our PCSOs issue UV pens to mark property with your details in invisible ink, and special bike marking kits too.

Finally, we remind you to please stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity on 101, or 999 in an emergency.

Thank you
