Beat Managers Update
Dear All,
Welcome to the Cheshire Alert Update for the Old Town/Mersey area of Runcorn.
At the beginning of October, officers conducted licensing checks on a number of pubs in the Old Town. All pubs were complying with their licensing conditions and all patrons were seen to be enjoying themselves sensibly over the weekend period!
A successful drugs warrant was conducted in Churchill Mansions this month. One male and one female were arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs. Warrants will continue to be executed as part of our crack down on drugs in the Old Town
Following a Community Survey on Victoria Road, Officers are conducting more frequent high visibility patrols in the area and are liaising with crime reduction officers regarding the subway at the end of Victoria Road. Officers will also be engaging with the community to conduct a ‘Clean Up’ operation in the subway and surrounding areas.
After numerous complaints from residents in the Lockfield Flats, Officers assisted in the eviction of two individuals who were persistently causing disruption to fellow residents, engaging in a disproportionate amount of anti-social behaviour and suspected drugs offences.
Bonfire night was a sparkling success this year, with a high turnout of residents showing up to watch a fantastic firework display. The display passed without any incidents and the family event was enjoyed by all!

Kind Regards,
The Beat Management Team
PC Kennedy, PC Green, PC Goddard, PCSO Thompson and PCSO Buckles
