The Lymm Dickensian Christmas Festival is an annual community event within the village. It is a free festival that takes place today, come along and join in with the fun and entertainment suitable for all the family.
Stalls 11:00 hrs - 17:00hrs
Plenty of stalls have booked for the event, representing many local societies, charities and businesses. Stalls will be located in the Village Centre, Village Hall, Maple Lodge, Youth Club and surrounding locations as well as an exhibition of paintings and hand-painted cards by local artists in the Village Hall.
Parade 13:30 hrs - 14:00hrs
Village Centre
The parade will start with a difference at this year’s event and then led by the Town Crier, Peter Powell. The parade will feature a traction engine, vintage cars, bands, schools and entertainers.
Illuminated Flotilla 16:45hrs
The Boat Stage, Bridgewater Canal, Village Centre
Organised by Lymm Cruising Club, the Illuminated Flotilla is worth the wait. Watch a series of canal boats lit up passing by the village. Please note: Subject to Weather Conditions.
