Volunteers - Litter pick of Rivacre Valley

Volunteers - Litter pick of Rivacre Valley

Residents and four-legged friends assisted by Tim Lloyd (Rivacre Valley Ranger) met on Wednesday 11 of November to carry out a litter pick of the area.  The group was compiled of regular volunteers, the Friends of Rivacre Valley and the members of the Facebook group: Rivacre Valley Appreciation Group.

Within an hour and a half the group of volunteers had quite a collection of litter as shown in the picture.  Much of this was obtained from the Seymour Road side of the valley.  Rivacre Valley is a popular area with walkers and to ensure it stays that way we encourage all visitors to use one of the bins provided or take your rubbish away with you.

If you fancy getting involved in future clean-ups or just enjoy the Rivacre Valley then why not follow the Facebook group: “Rivacre Valley Appreciation Group”.
