Show your love for your park this #LoveParks Week

19 July 2017

Join in with the 100 million visits to UK parks this #LoveParks Week (14 -23 July) and tell the world why you love your park.

Love Parks Week, organised by Keep Britain Tidy, is Britain’s biggest celebration of these valuable spaces. Cheshire West and Chester Council is joining the celebration, and encouraging everyone to share why they love the borough’s parks and green spaces.

The Council’s Cabinet Member for Communities and Wellbeing, Councillor Louise Gittins said:  “This #LoveParks Week, we are encouraging as many people as possible to go out and enjoy their local park. Take a photo, video or simply post on social media, using the hashtag #LoveParks, telling @Go_CheshireWest, and the world why you love your park.

“Over the coming week our Green Space officers will have special heart-shaped message boards for you to write your own personal message about what your local park means to you. Pop into your park and get involved.”
