Council invests in 3D laser scanning for Darnhall Bridge near Winsford

6 November 2017

Cheshire West and Chester Council will invest in 3D laser scanning during the first stage of improvement works on Darnhall Bridge, near Winsford.  As part of this a road closure will be needed while investigation works take place.

Hall Lane will be closed at Darnhall Bridge on the south west side of Winsford from 13 November for two weeks.

The Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, Councillor Karen Shore said: “We are looking at doing a refurbishment of this bridge in the future and need to do a 3D laser survey to get accurate dimensions to confirm some of the construction details.” A signed diversion route via Church Minshull will be in place.
