No council elections scheduled in Cheshire West this May

29 March 2018

This year Cheshire West and Chester Council has no scheduled Local, Parish or Town Council elections taking place in the borough.

Cheshire West and Chester Council elects all local councillors in one single election, every four years, unlike some other local authorities. The next Local elections will take place in May 2019.

The by-election for the Ellesmere Port Town ward will take place on Thursday, 3 May for Ellesmere Port Town residents only.

If you do not live in the Ellesmere Port Town ward, you will not receive a poll card or postal vote as there are no elections in your area this May. The next scheduled local elections for your area will take place on Thursday, 2 May 2019.
