Permanent traffic orders

Notice is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make the following Traffic Regulation Orders in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council

(Green Lane, Shocklach) (20mph speed limit) Order 2018


The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Green Lane from its junction with Worthenbury Road for a distance of 200 metres in a north-westerly direction.

(Tilston area) (20mp and 30mph speed limits) ORDER 2018

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:

Church Road from a point 35 metres south of its junction with Malpas Road for a distance of 400 metres in a southerly direction, Long Lane, Rookery Road and Wynter Lane.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the following lengths of road:

Brereton Close, Church Street, Depenbech Close, Hayside Walk, High Street, Hughes Lane, Lanceley Court, Leech Road, Mercer Close, Old Hall Street from its junction with High Street/Well Street for a distance of 25 metres in a southerly direction, Springfield Avenue, St Georges Rise, St Oswalds Close, Tilston Road from its junction with High Street/Hughes Lane for a distance of 30 metres in a northerly direction, Well Avenue, Well Farm Close, Well Street from its junction with High Street eastwards to its junction with Springfield Road.

(Bell O The Hill Road, Tushingham-cum-Grindley) (20mph speed limit) Order 2018


The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Bell o the Hill Road (i) from a point 27 metres west of its northern junction with Whitchurch Road northwards to its northerly end; and (ii) from its northern junction with Whitchurch Road for a distance of 260 metres in a westerly and southerly direction.

Full details of the proposals are in the draft Orders which, together with plans showing the extent of the proposals, may be examined at the Council Offices, Ground Floor Reception, The Forum, Chester.

If you wish to object to the proposed Order, or to any provisions contained in it, you may do so in writing specifying the grounds on which it is made, to the undersigned by Friday 28 September.
