Mayor of Ellesmere Port invites you to her Christmas Fair

24 November 2015

The Mayor of Ellesmere Port, Councillor Lynn Clare, is inviting everyone to her Christmas Fair on Saturday, 5 December.

Councillor Clare is also calling on all charities, groups, clubs and craft groups to come together and raise funds by taking stalls at the event which is held between 10am and 1pm at Ellesmere Port Civic Hall.

Councillor Clare said: “It will be great to see as many people and children as possible at my Christmas Fair and of course Father Christmas will also be there.

“There will be a wide range of stalls available selling everything for Christmas including jewellery, knitted crafts and candles and the prizes for the tombola are varied and well worth winning.

“Christmas is always a special time of year when we think of others and I am proud that profits from the event will go to my Mayoral charity of the year Macmillan which as people know, is very close to my heart.

“This event – the first of its kind for a Mayor of Ellesmere Port – is an important fund raising initiative and I am sure that people will agree with me, is for a very worthwhile cause.

“It promises to be a fantastic Christmas celebration so please take a stall or come along to see what is on offer at my Christmas Fair. Everyone is welcome”  If you would like to book a stall or want further information please call 0151 337 4615.
