Temporary restriction of pedestrians

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Public Footpath No 18 Little Leigh which commences at the junction with Willow Green lane at OSGR SJ 6067 7593 and runs in a generally north westerly direction along the canal towpath for approximately 107 metres to the junction with Footpath 5 Little Leigh at OSGR SJ 6040 7624

The restriction is necessary for reasons of works to repair bridges and path. The works are expected to take approximately 13 weeks to complete.

The Order will come into force on 18 September 2017 and will continue in force for a period of 13 weeks, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

Use Willow Green Lane in either direction or then using the connecting Footpath 5 Little Leigh
