Traffic regulation order: Ellesmere Port - Ledsham and Capenhurst (proposed 30mph and 40mph speed limits)
|Notice is hereby given that Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.|
CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL
(LEDSHAM AND CAPENHURST) (30MPH AND 40MPH SPEED LIMITS)
The effect of the Order will be to:
• Introduce a 30 mph speed limit on Ledsham Village
• Introduce a 40 mph speed limit on (i) Capenhurst Lane (from its junction with A540 Parkgate Road to a point 432 metres west of its junction with Penfold Close), (ii) Rectory Lane (from its junction with Ledsham Lane to a point 185 metres north of its junction with Capenhurst Lane), (iii) Chapel Lane and (iv) Ledsham Lane.
Full details are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the extents of the proposals, may be examined at the Council’s Locality Office, Ellesmere Port Library, Floor 2, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, CH65 0BG between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 31st January 2020 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Any representations made should specify the title of the Order and may become available for public inspection.
