Temporary closure of Tarporley Library

28 June 2016

Tarporley Library will be closed during the summer holidays due to building work taking place at Tarporley High School.

The library will close at 7pm on Monday 18 July and will reopen at 1.30pm on Thursday 8 September.

Extended loan periods will be put in place so that items will not be due for return during this time.

Councillor Louise Gittins, Cabinet Member for Community and Wellbeing said: "We apologise for any inconvenience during the temporary closure but customers are very welcome to use any of our other libraries, including nearby Tarvin, Tattenhall, Sandiway and Winsford Libraries.

"Customers can also search, reserve and renew items on-line, at any time of the day or night, on the Council website. A 24 hour telephone line for renewals is available too, by calling 0845 148 0 148." Library information and services can be accessed online at: cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/libraries.
