Temporary restriction of pedestrians orderNotice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Public Footpath No. 10 which commences at OS grid reference SJ6572 7059 and runs in a generally southerly direction for approximately 137 metres to OS grid reference SJ6582 7049 and then continues 59 metres in a south easterly direction to OS grid reference SJ5687 7047 and Public Footpath 11 which commences at OS grid reference SJ6588 7048 and continues in a generally southerly direction for approximately 130 metres to OS grid reference SJ6596 7037.
The closure is necessary while the works to footpath are undertaken. The works are expected to take approximately six months to complete.
The Order will come into force on 2 November and will continue in force for a period of six months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
The alternate route will be signed on site and will commence from the closure at OS grid reference SJ6572 7059 will follow the northern side of the boundary in a generally southerly direction to OS Grid reference SP 6596 7037 where the route will re-join the unaffected part of Public Footpath 11.
