Temporary traffic regulation
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on following roads in Northwich to enable the Northwich Christmas Extravaganza to be carried out by organiser.
The Order will come into force on Saturday 25 November 2017 as detailed below
Roads to be closed
The following lengths of road will be closed from 6am to 8pm:
The following lengths of road will be closed from 4.45pm to 5pm
- Meadow Street (From Sheath Street to Witton Street) Witton Street (From Meadow Street to Venables Road
- A533 London Road (From A5509 Chester Way to A559 Watling Street)
Alternative routes for traffic
Pedestrian access to premises situated on or adjacent to the roads will be maintained at all times.
- Traffic diverted from Sheath Street and Meadow Street (From Sheath Street to Witton Way) should proceed via Crum Hill, Chester Way and Venables Road.
