Footpath No. 12 in the Parish of Lostock Gralam

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 8th September 2020. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Public Footpath No. 12 in the Parish of Lostock Gralam commencing at OS grid reference SJ 6851 7426 running in a westerly direction for approximately 20 metres then continuing northerly for approximately 30 metres to the foot bridge, continuing over the foot bridge to OS grid reference SJ 6846 7430 and its junction with Footpath 19 Northwich.

The closure is necessary due to severe concerns with the integrity of the structure.

The Order came into force on 8 March 2018 and would have ended on the 8 March 2019. 

There is no alternative route.
