Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 18 February 2020.
(Public Footpath No. 9, 10 and 11, Davenham)
Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians Order 2019
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on that length of Public Footpath No. 9 which commences at OS grid reference SJ 65876 70472 and runs in a generally southerly direction for approximately 138 metres to OS grid reference SJ 65856 70335. Public Footpath No. 10 which commences at OS grid reference SJ 6572 7060 and runs in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 200 metres to OS grid reference SJ 6587 7047 and Public Footpath No 11 which commences at OS grid reference SJ 6588 7048 and runs in a south easterly direction for approximately 130 metres to OS grid reference SJ 6594 7040.
The closure is necessary while works for upgrading the Chester to Wrexham Rail line is undertaken.
The Order came into force on 18 January 2019 and would have ended on the 18 July 2019.
There is no alternative route.
