Over and Greenfields Children's Centre Consultation
6 March 2018A consultation, launched to seek the views of local residents in west Cheshire, remains open until Friday 16 March.
Consultation feedback will inform where children’s centre services are delivered from in future in the Winsford area.
There are two options that the Council are asking people to share their views on:
1. Greenfields Children’s Centre to remain as a main children’s centre. Over Children’s Centre to remain closed.
2. Over Children’s Centre to be re-registered and opened as a main children’s centre. Greenfields Children’s Centre to change to a linked site (providing further services tailored to meet the needs of local children)
Councillor Nicole Meardon, Cabinet Member Children and Families, said: “I encourage everyone in the local area to have their say on the options being considered.
“Your views will help inform our decisions and will shape where services for local 0-19 year olds in Winsford are delivered from.
“We are committed to the giving children, young people and families the best start in life and are particularly keen to hear from our residents in Winsford.”
Full details of the proposals are available on the Cheshire West and Chester Council website, search ‘Over and Greenfields consultation’.
There are a number of ways to get involved in the consultation.
A consultation booklet provides in-depth information about the proposals and a questionnaire for people to share their views. All information is included on the Council website or alternatively a copy of the consultation booklet can be requested via:
